Welcome to FindVil. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FindVil LLC, an Oregon Limited Liability Company ("FindVil," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the FindVil platform, website (https://findvil.com), and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the FindVil Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 Binding Agreement
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and FindVil LLC. Your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in their entirety.
1.2 Additional Policies
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Additional terms may apply to specific features or services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those features or services.
1.3 Modifications to Terms
FindVil reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
1.4 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of Service
2.1 Platform Purpose
FindVil provides an AI-powered job search automation platform designed to help job seekers discover opportunities, generate tailored application documents, and create professional profiles for recruiter discovery. The Service aggregates job postings from various sources across the internet and uses artificial intelligence to match opportunities with user-configured search criteria.
2.2 Service Components
The Service includes but is not limited to:
- Automated job search and matching functionality
- AI-powered resume and cover letter generation
- Resume storage and management (Resume Deck)
- Customizable public professional profiles
- Talent Directory for recruiter discovery
- Credit-based access to AI-powered features
- Subscription plans with enhanced capabilities
2.3 Service Modifications
FindVil reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
2.4 No Guarantee of Job Placement
FindVil provides tools to assist with job searching but does not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific job search outcomes. Your success depends on many factors beyond the Service's control, including your qualifications, market conditions, and employer decisions.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You may register using an email address and password or through Google authentication.
3.2 Account Information Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to maintain its accuracy and completeness. FindVil reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, inaccurate, or incomplete information.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password for your account
- Not share your account credentials with any third party
- Notify FindVil immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Log out from your account at the end of each session when using shared or public computers
FindVil is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3.4 Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify FindVil at support@findvil.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3.5 One Account Per User
Each user may maintain only one active account for personal job search purposes. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits, service restrictions, or other Terms is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
4.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for your conduct while using the Service and for any content you upload or submit.
4.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of FindVil or any third party
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Upload false, inaccurate, or misleading information, including false resumes or fabricated credentials
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service
- Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access the Service without express written permission from FindVil
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
- Use the Service to transmit spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications
- Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software comprising the Service
- Remove, circumvent, disable, damage, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Service
- Share your account with others or allow others to access your account
- Use the Service to collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Engage in any activity that competes with or could be reasonably considered competitive with FindVil's business
4.3 Resume Content Requirements
When uploading resumes or creating profiles, you represent and warrant that:
- All information is accurate and truthful
- You have the right to use all content included in your materials
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
Uploading false credentials, fabricated experience, or misleading information violates these Terms and may result in account termination.
4.4 Enforcement
FindVil reserves the right to investigate violations of these Terms and to take appropriate legal action, including without limitation, reporting suspected unlawful activity to law enforcement officials, regulators, or other third parties. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 FindVil Ownership
The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials provided through the Service (excluding User Content as defined below), is owned by FindVil LLC, its licensors, or other providers of such material. This content is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Limited License to Users
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, FindVil grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes.
5.3 Restrictions on Use
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Create derivative works based on the Service
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without express written permission from FindVil
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Service
5.4 User Content License
You retain all ownership rights in content you upload to the Service, including resumes, profile information, and other materials ("User Content"). However, by uploading User Content, you grant FindVil a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with providing the Service.
This license includes the right to:
- Process your User Content through AI systems to generate search criteria, tailored resumes, and cover letters
- Display your User Content in your Resume Deck and on your public profile (if you choose to make your profile public)
- Use your User Content to improve and enhance the Service
- Create anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and service improvement
This license continues even after you stop using the Service with respect to User Content you have not deleted, but terminates when you delete your User Content or your account.
5.5 Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide FindVil with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you grant FindVil a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without any obligation to compensate you.
6. Credits and Payment Terms
6.1 Credit System
FindVil operates on a credit-based system for access to AI-powered features. Different activities consume different amounts of credits as specified on the Service. Credit costs are subject to change at FindVil's discretion with reasonable notice.
6.2 Free Trial Credits
New accounts receive 10 free credits to explore the Service. These credits are a one-time promotional allocation and do not renew.
6.3 Pay-As-You-Go Credit Packs
Users may purchase credit packs at various price points. Credits purchased through pay-as-you-go packs do not expire and remain available until used. All credit pack purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or as specified in Section 6.8.
6.4 Subscription Plans
FindVil offers subscription plans (Pro and Enterprise) with recurring monthly billing. Subscription plans include:
- Monthly credit allocations that reset on each billing date
- Unlimited job fetch operations
- Access to enhanced search frequencies
- Other benefits as specified for each plan tier
6.5 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis and will continue until you cancel. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee on your billing date each month. You must cancel your subscription before your next billing date to avoid charges for the subsequent period.
6.6 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and authorize FindVil (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for all fees you incur.
You acknowledge that FindVil does not store complete credit card information—Stripe securely processes and stores payment data in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
6.7 Payment Failures
If payment for subscription renewal fails, FindVil will attempt to process payment several times over a period of days. You will receive email notifications regarding payment issues. If payment cannot be processed after multiple attempts, your subscription will be suspended, and you will lose access to subscription benefits until payment is successfully processed.
6.8 Refund Policy
Credit Packs: Credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. Refunds for unused credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis by contacting support@findvil.com within 7 days of purchase.
Subscriptions: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription, you maintain access to subscription benefits through the end of your current billing period, but no refund will be provided for that period.
Exceptions: Refunds may be issued at FindVil's discretion for:
- Technical errors resulting in incorrect charges
- Service failures preventing use of purchased credits
- Other extraordinary circumstances as determined by FindVil
To request a refund, contact support@findvil.com with your account information and reason for the refund request.
6.9 Price Changes
FindVil reserves the right to modify credit pack prices and subscription fees at any time. Price changes for credit packs take effect immediately for new purchases. Price changes for subscriptions take effect on your next billing cycle after notice is provided, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new price applies if you do not agree to the change.
6.10 Taxes
Prices do not include any taxes, levies, duties, or similar governmental assessments (collectively, "Taxes"). You are responsible for paying all Taxes associated with your purchases. If FindVil has the legal obligation to collect Taxes for which you are responsible, the appropriate amount will be invoiced to and collected from you.
7. Third-Party Content and Links
7.1 Job Listings
The Service aggregates job listings from various third-party sources across the internet. FindVil does not create these job postings and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. All job opportunities are posted by third-party employers, and FindVil has no control over:
- The accuracy of job descriptions or requirements
- The legitimacy of employers or job postings
- Hiring decisions or employment terms
- The application process or communications with employers
7.2 Third-Party Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including employer websites, job boards, and application portals. These links are provided for your convenience only. FindVil does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party websites or their content.
When you click on links to external sites, you leave the FindVil Service and are subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of those external sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.
7.3 No Warranty for Third-Party Content
FindVil makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any third-party content, including job listings. You acknowledge that you access and use third-party content at your own risk.
7.4 Job Application Disclaimer
Applications to job opportunities happen through external platforms where employers have posted positions. FindVil provides links to facilitate applications but is not involved in the application process, employment decisions, or any employment relationships that may result.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.2 Data You Provide
You acknowledge and agree that information you provide to FindVil, including resumes, profile information, and search preferences, may contain personal and professional data. You are responsible for the accuracy of this information and have the right to control how it is used on the Service.
8.3 AI Processing
You understand and consent to FindVil's use of artificial intelligence systems to process your User Content for purposes including:
- Generating tailored resumes and cover letters
- Creating search criteria from uploaded resumes
- Matching job opportunities to your search preferences
- Improving Service quality and functionality
8.4 Data Security
FindVil implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. However, no internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. You acknowledge that FindVil cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8.5 Public Profile
If you choose to make your profile public, the information you select to display will be visible to recruiters and other users accessing the Talent Directory. You control what information appears in your public profile and may make your profile private at any time.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service Provided "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
FINDVIL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Service will meet your expectations
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
9.2 No Employment Guarantee
FINDVIL EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ANY GUARANTEE, PROMISE, OR WARRANTY REGARDING JOB PLACEMENT, INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES, OR ANY SPECIFIC EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES. THE SERVICE PROVIDES TOOLS TO ASSIST WITH JOB SEARCHING, BUT SUCCESS DEPENDS ON NUMEROUS FACTORS BEYOND FINDVIL'S CONTROL.
9.3 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
While FindVil's AI systems are designed to generate high-quality, accurate content, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI-GENERATED RESUMES AND COVER LETTERS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR INACCURACIES. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING, VERIFYING, AND APPROVING ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT BEFORE SUBMITTING IT TO POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS. FINDVIL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
9.4 Job Listing Disclaimer
FINDVIL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, APPROPRIATENESS, OR LEGALITY OF JOB LISTINGS AGGREGATED FROM THIRD-PARTY SOURCES. FINDVIL DOES NOT VERIFY EMPLOYER INFORMATION, JOB DESCRIPTIONS, OR THE LEGITIMACY OF JOB POSTINGS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE APPLYING TO ANY OPPORTUNITY OR SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH EMPLOYERS.
9.5 Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FINDVIL LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, HOWEVER CAUSED, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF FINDVIL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINDVIL'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO OR ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU TO FINDVIL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9.6 Exclusions and Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the limitations in Sections 9.1-9.5 may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, FindVil's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FindVil LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, judgments, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of any third party
- Your User Content, including any claim that your User Content infringes or violates any third-party intellectual property rights
- Any false, inaccurate, or misleading information you provide to FindVil
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
FindVil reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with FindVil in asserting any available defenses.
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting FindVil at support@findvil.com and requesting account deletion. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be disabled
- Your User Content will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies
- Any unused pay-as-you-go credits will be forfeited
- Subscription benefits will continue until the end of your current billing period
11.2 Termination by FindVil
FindVil may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you:
- Breach any provision of these Terms
- Engage in prohibited activities as described in Section 4
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination for any reason:
- All rights and licenses granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease
- You must immediately cease all use of the Service
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including without limitation Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 6 (Payment Terms), 9 (Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 13 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
11.4 No Refunds Upon Termination
Termination of your account does not entitle you to any refund of fees already paid, except as expressly provided in Section 6.8 or as required by applicable law.
12. Changes to the Service
FindVil reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. FindVil may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Service without notice or liability.
You agree that FindVil will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.2 Venue
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon. You waive any objection to venue in such courts and any claim that such courts are an inconvenient forum.
13.3 Informal Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with FindVil, you agree to first contact us at support@findvil.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to resolve any disputes.
13.4 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you and FindVil agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative action.
13.5 Arbitration Agreement
If informal dispute resolution is unsuccessful, you agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
The arbitration will be conducted in Multnomah County, Oregon, unless we agree otherwise. Each party will be responsible for paying any filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees in accordance with AAA rules, except that FindVil will reimburse those fees for claims totaling less than $10,000 unless the arbitrator determines the claims are frivolous.
The arbitrator's decision will include the essential findings and conclusions upon which the arbitrator based the award. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. This arbitration provision shall survive termination of these Terms.
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features of the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and FindVil regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
14.2 Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision. FindVil's failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
14.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its intent. If modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder, by operation of law or otherwise, without FindVil's prior written consent. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be void. FindVil may assign these Terms and all rights and obligations hereunder without restriction.
14.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not and are not intended to confer any rights or remedies upon any person or entity other than you and FindVil.
14.6 Force Majeure
FindVil shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including without limitation acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargos, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
14.7 Electronic Communications
You consent to receive electronic communications from FindVil, including emails regarding your account, Service updates, and marketing communications. These electronic communications are part of your relationship with FindVil and you agree that they satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You may opt out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in such messages, but you cannot opt out of transactional or account-related communications.
14.8 Export Control
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations in your use of the Service. You represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country to which the United States has embargoed goods or services.
14.9 U.S. Government Rights
If you are a U.S. government entity, the Service is a "Commercial Item" as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial Computer Software Documentation," as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202. Consistent with applicable law, U.S. government entities have only those rights in the Service as are granted to all other users under these Terms.
14.10 California Residents
If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."

16. Acknowledgment
BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, ACCESSING, OR USING THE FINDVIL SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
